[GET THE LOOK] Red Velvet - 'Ice Cream Cake' MV

SM Entertainment’s newest girl group, Red Velvet made a comeback a little while ago with a new member and a brand new look. Their music video for ‘Ice Cream Cake’ gives quite a bright feeling and the bold colour style we saw in their debut is back with a vengeance.

For this ‘Get the Look’ we have ‘Ice Cream Cake’ inspiration! (Sounds delicious, doesn't it?!)

The preppy, cheerleader-style is certainly not for everyone, but the bright and bold colours do add a real punch to your look if you are up for embracing them. Males should also not be afraid of brighter colours; there are quite a lot of pieces for men in purples, yellows and pinks etc. these days.

 You are probably getting ready to start packing all your winter clothing away until next winter now, but it is always good to have a few jumpers on standby, especially as we are only just starting to get some more sunshine. Clearly, only tops are included in the suggestions, but the versatility of these items is another huge plus. You could wear them with skirts (like the Red Velvet girls), shorts, or jeans. These bright colours will go with almost any colour denim, but be careful not to overdo things. Plain skinny jeans, even with some ripped knee detail would be perfect to add a little more edge to this otherwise cutesy-cute style. Finish off the look with some trainers (converses are a good example) and you have a comfortable look that will surely still catch peoples’ eye!
